County Supervisor Dennis Mills Inspects Little John Road
Calaveras County Supervisor Dennis Mills has announced that the complete repaving of a large section Little John Road in our association will begin tomorrow, Wednesday, May 30th, instead of 2019. Supervisor Mills toured the poorly repaired section of the road completed earlier in April at the request of the Copper Cove Association Board. As a result of the tour, Mills demanded the county take action to repair the terrible patch job done on the road. The paving was originally scheduled for summer 2019 but Mills was able to expedite the paving this week. It is includes the section from Saddle Creek to Moccasin in Copperopolis.
The previous repair work completed this spring was done by the County Department of Public Works. Recently the director of that department left his job. Mills said much of the paving equipment is in Copper Cove. Ryan Oatts, CCA President declared “We are delighted to have a County Supervisor who is so responsive to our community. Improvement of all of our roads here is vital and we are glad Dennis Mills shares that view.”
The Supervisor has supported complete repaving of the road in relative near future as well as our roads in our community.
