The Fitness Room at Black Creek Park had temporarily reopened. In the Board of Directors Meeting on November 7th, a new set of temporary rules were adopted that should allow the Fitness Room to remain open for the three least restrictive tiers (yellow, orange, red) according to the California Public Health Department’s guidelines. As Calaveras County enters the Purple Tier then we must close the gym.
Some of the changes include reduced capacity for same households only, which is managed through a reservation system. Any member may reserve a one hour block of time simply by calling or send in a request by email. The phone number is 209-785-2688 and please leave a message if we do not answer. We will call you back with confirmation of your request. The email address is office@coppercove.org or one can be submitted through the contact us section of this website. Be sure to include your full name and property information. All reservation requests will be honored on a first come basis.
The hours of operation have been reduced as well. The first available time is 7am and the last at 5pm giving 11 total blocks for use by different members. During each hour only the first 45 minutes will be usable to allow a small window of time for the maintenance staff to perform a sanitary wipe-down of all contact surfaces. Not to mention let it air out some as well.
