The Hill Billy BBQ sponsored by the Copper Cove Association (CCA) was a huge hit with hundreds of our CCA members attending.
Our facilities staff installed, what could be called, the largest slip and slide in California! It was a blast for the kids and even a few moms and dads. We also had a water slide and jump house along with Pony Rides sponsored by the CCA Equestrian Committee.
Volunteers like Ken Gutman and Marianne Cox jumped in to cook hotdogs and chicken in 103 degree heat. We even ran out of hot dogs! Hundreds joined us for lunch. We all need to thank our staff Melinda Geisness and Aaron Green for their great work in making the day a reality for our community.
