The Calaveras Enterprise published a story looking at animal control problems in Copperopolis but also focused on the need to expand the ability and power of the Copper Cove Associations rule and governing documents. Read the story.
Recent problems with animal control have highlighted the need to update the Copper Cove Association’s 50 year old out of date CC&Rs/governing documents. Many past directors and members of the Association have been frustrated with the Association’s inability to deal with problems ranging from out of control animals to creating defensible space in confronting wildfires.
This Calaveras Enterprise story does a great job focusing on this reality. In June the Copper Cove Association will holding workshops with Jennifer Jacobsen, an expert on HOA law from Sacramento, to provide an opportunity for members to comment on the proposed changes.
CC&R Workshops – The dates for the two Copper Cove Association workshops are June 1st at 9 am and June 6th at 5 pm. Please try to attend either of those workshops and then vote and encourage your friends and neighbors to vote.
We need to work with appropriate local and state agencies and our new government documents to insure that the interests of our members are served.
