Our fitness room at the Copper Cove Association Black Creek Center is getting more and more use. It was clear that we needed to replace one of our treadmills and the elliptical trainer. After a great deal of research, the Board of Directors purchased two new pieces of commercial grade exercise equipment and then have been installed in the Fitness Room at Black Creek Park.
The new equipment includes
- Treadmill – The new treadmill is a BH LKT6 Treadmill . It is backed by a Commercial warranty the LKT6 is a workhorse. According to the manufacturer is has extra large 20”x60” running surface, equipped with an orthopedic belt and built around a solid commercial frame for stability and durability. “The LKT6 is built tough and is perfect for serious workouts. It also comes with a whisper quiet 3.25 HP DC drive motor provides unparalleled durability and reliability.” Declares the manufacturer.
- Elliptical Trainer – The elliptical is a BH LK500E This is again a commercial grade unit as an extra tough self-powered elliptical. It is designed with multiple readout windows and a bright LED display. This trainer is designed for commercial environments that take their toll on fitness equipment..
